Musical reduction of the National Anthem of the Russian Federation was made by the art director and main conductor of the Russian Presidential orchestra, People’s Artist of Russia, composer Pavel Ovsyannikov.

The official anthem of the Russian Federation was first performed on December 30, 2000 during a ceremony at the Great Kremlin Palace.
